Well it’s here. Our final delivery of our regular menu for 2017. Just the Christmas boxes left to be delivered on Christmas Eve, and then we are looking forward to a wee break.
It’s been a huge year for us at On Your Plate, with big projects, like setting up our new packing facility in Napier, and we now have 12 locals on the team! It’s a good feeling keeping every bit of what you spend with us in the Bay. It definitely helps our local economy. Our growers and suppliers have really seen the customer awareness grow around the different products we have tried to showcase in our menu’s.
It has been an absolute joy to be able to supply you the freshest and best we have to offer, and to hear some of the positive feedback, still makes me grin like a Cheshire cat 😊.
I’m looking forward to the challenges 2018 will bring, trying new products, and suppliers, and helping to make Kate’s recipes as creative as ever.
As I’ve mentioned earlier, we are taking a break over Christmas / New Year and our next delivery will be on the 7th of January 2018. Please don’t forget to pause your AP’s if you are paying by bank transfer. Credit Card payers, we have already sorted yours, on your behalf.
I would also like to share some awesome news we got last week. Our amazing trio of packaging gurus headed down to the 2017 Special Olympics National Competition in Wellington two weeks ago. We were so pleased to hear back that Briar and Greta both won Gold medals in their respective swimming disciplines, and Flick also won a Gold in her tenpin bowling. Way to go girls! We are super proud of their achievements, and it’s a great way to end the year.
So that pretty much wraps it up for the year.
